Your Home Water Supply: HIGH Risk for Breast Cancer, Recurrence & Metastasis

What's In Your Water? EDCs, Pesticides, Herbicides, Prescription Drugs, PFAS - for starters

Your Home Water Supply

What’s in Your Water?

Hydrating your body is vital for life, but becoming and staying cancer-free requires pure, toxin-free water. Unfortunately, what we often consider ‘safe’ water isn’t truly free from harmful substances as we are beginning to learn. Taking control yourself is essential if you want genuinely clean water. Be proactive – your journey to a vibrant, cancer-free life starts with every drop you drink. Empower yourself to cancer free health with each sip you drink and every drop you cook with. And don’t forget your ice cubes!

PFAS/PFOA Chemicals

You MUST filter your household water coming into your house and then again your drinking, cooking and teeth brushing water under your kitchen and bathroom sinks to remove these chemicals. You also MUST stop drinking bottled water as well and using any products that contain PFAS chemicals in their coatings. Yes, these changes are difficult but definitely worth it to become cancer free – and stay that way! Once you change brands and a few of your lifestyle habits around the water you drink, use for cooking and brushing your teeth in that’s all it takes to significantly limit your exposure to these chemicals – they are a big factor in the cause of your breast cancer and any recurrence. Research is showing that more and more harmful chemicals are being discovered in our household water.

Endocrine Disruptors

In order to minimizer breast cancer & recurrences & maximize healing from breast cancer we MUST filter our household water coming into our houses and then filter it a second time for drinking, cooking and teeth brushing. Reverse Omsis filtering under the kitchen and bathroom sinks is a great cost effective way to do that. We also MUST stop drinking bottled water because it contains several types of EDCS. (This also includes paper cups on the go). Yes, again it’s pain in the ass but once you change brands or get used to carrying your own stainless steel tumbler that’s all it takes to limit your exposure to these chemicals in a very significant way.

Avoid unfiltered water at all costs is the lesson here.

Pesticides & Herbicides

What are these and why are they in our water? Pesticides and herbicides are chemicals used in agriculture and gardening to control pests and weeds. Both of these chemicals have ended up in our “safe” drinking water rendering it deadly without filtering

Impact: While pesticides can be effective in controlling pests, their use can also have negative effects on human health and they seep into the ground water – which we eventually get supplied to our homes in the form of city water.

Thus are tons of pesticides and herbicides in our “safe” city drinking water that most of us use. If you live in a rural area without city filtered water your exposure is likely even worse. If you live near agricultural farms your toxic exposure is probably through the roof and you have no idea.

This was  our BossLady Roxann’s experience. She lives near acres of strawberry fields and the pesticides used on that fruit is one of THE most toxic of pesticides. Double filtering her household water (discussed below) is a huge game changer for her and has spurred on her cancer remission.

Herbicides

Herbicides are used to kill or control unwanted plants, commonly known as weeds, that compete with crops for nutrients, water, and sunlight. RoundUp is a very toxic product that is used by farmers on our food! It is critical to scrub frutis and vegetables throughly before eating them!

They are classified into two main categories: selective herbicides (target specific types of weeds without harming desired plants) and non-selective herbicides (kill all plants they come into contact with). Herbicides are widely used in agriculture, landscaping, and lawn care to maintain weed-free fields, gardens, and lawns.

Impact: Similar to pesticides, herbicides have severe adverse effects on human health.

Prescription Drugs

How do prescription drugs end up in our water supply?

Flushing Medications: Some individuals dispose of unused or expired medications by flushing them down the toilet or sink, which directly introduces these drugs into the water supply. We were taught to do this: STOP. Never do it again, now that you know!

Human Excretion: After people take medications, their bodies metabolize only a portion of the drugs, and the rest is excreted through urine or feces. These substances then enter the wastewater system.

Pharmaceutical Manufacturing: Facilities that produce medications can release pharmaceuticals into the environment through their wastewater.

Agricultural Runoff: Drugs used in veterinary medicine can also enter water bodies through runoff from farms and livestock operations

In the end, without filtering our drinking water we are essentially taking other people’s medications! We all know that is a very bad idea.

BCA Recommendations for Clean Safe Household Water

To get – and stay – breast cancer free and to prevent breast cancer you are going to have to ensure you have truly safe and clean water.

How – becomes the burning question – and to do this cost effectively is the second half of that question.

And with so many options available, how do you choose the best filtering for your own health – cancer needs – and the rest of your family?

How do we tackle these chemicals head-on with the best filtering systems and navigate your way to effective clean water solutions you can choose from. Transform your water from toxic to truly safe for you and your loved ones by choosing the right filters and ensuring every drop you drink is pure and safe.

Carbon Filtering + SALT Water Softener PLUS Reverse Osmosis (RO) under both your kitchen AND bathroom sinks is your best option for the cleanest water possible in your home and is the most cost effective solution for you and your family. “Water conditioning” filters or “saltless water filters/softners” are NOT going to give you the extra filtration that you want. All three of these filters: carbon + salt 75% filtering + RO filters out 95% more of the 75% that was already filtered = very very clean water.

You can DIY it: by purchasing these systems at your neighborhood hardware store and installing it yourself or having them installed by a plumber. You need a large enough system to handle the water capacity for your whole family. It’s best to go into the store and talk to someone in person about the capacity of the systems they sell. They also sell RO systems as well – or you can buy Roxann’s system Waterdrop. She loves it, she has two of them: kitchen & main bathroom.

Renting a system from a commercial water filtration company is the easiest and requires the least amount of cash outlay. They do all the installing, delivering and maintenance – and they bill you the following month!

Roxann researched many companies that provide water filtration before purchasing her clean water filtering. She has a carbon filter on her house water inlet into her house and an additional RO system under both her kitchen sink and upstairs bathroom sink where she brushes her teeth and drinks water at night – then she has an additional filtering showerhead. She also takes clean water from home with her, in her stainless steel tumbler, wherever she goes so she knows she is drinking clean safe water from home, easily avoiding bottled & toxic tap water supplied by restaurants, or other public establishments or other people’s homes. Otherwise, she can’t be sure she is not drinking the above mentioned chemicals, contributing to a recurrence of breast cancer for her.
