I had a 3rd excision of left flank skin (bra band area to the left of my left breast – still shows ILC in the skin, damn it! But at a moderate tumor burden and 3% Ki-67 score! Thos breast surgeon wants me to go flat on the left breast and is now pushing me to get radiation. I NO and I will not be back to see that surgeon – she-s fired. That is 3 fired breast surgeons now. At this rate I’m expecting to be cancer free completely in the next few months. It’s been a long and slow process but it IS happening. I am95 % cancer free I’m very thankful. I am still looking for an OncoDermatoligst (skin cancer specialist) to give me PhotoDynamic Therapy (PDT). This treatment is part of a study for Cutaneous Metastatic Breast Cancer but I don’t qualify for the study as participants must have had 2 lines of filed Standard of Care Treatment to qualify. The doctor running the study will not treat me outside of the study. I will keep knocking until someone says YES! Scheduled my final breast reconstruction for May. Also seeking a hormone specialist to start back on those in the summer.
