In 2025 we find ourselves entrenched in a chemically toxic environment. For the past 75 years, with the proliferation of plastics and industrial pollutants, the accumulation of harmful substances in our surroundings has reached a critical point. These environmental toxins have become the primary culprits behind the surge in cancer rates and other debilitating diseases, far outweighing genetic factors. Only 5% percent of breast cancer is gentic. This means that 95% of breast cancer is environmentally caused.

Most of our modern lifestyle choices contribute to the cancer epidemic, with these behaviors shaped by societal norms and pressures created by big corporations through marketing of their “convenience” products that have grown in popularity as our daily lives get busier. It’s crucial to understand that none of this is your fault. The real blame and responsibility lies with our government and corporate entities. Government officials have chosen to overlook crucial health & safety regulations in both our common daily use products and food, allowing  corporate greed to be prioritized over consumer health & safety. This has driven industries to disregard the devastating consequences of their actions, focusing solely on profit margins. It’s morally wrong and they both need to be held accountable!

As we grapple with these harsh truths, it’s time to hold those in power accountable by pushing  for meaningful change. We must demand stricter regulations, greater transparency, and a commitment to safeguarding our health and environment for future generations. That is starting to happen and BCA will play a big part in that for women and breast cancer.
