Why I Said No to Chemo, Radiation & Hormone Blockers To Treat Breast Cancer and What I Did Instead

The Turning Point: When I was diagnosed with Stage 3 ILC, DCIS, and LCIS, the first words out of the oncologist’s mouth were: “We need to start chemo immediately.” No discussion. No options. No curiosity. Just protocol. I said no. Not because I was afraid. Because I was informed. Because I had already started building something better.

The Decision Breakdown Here’s why I refused chemo:

  • I read the clinical data on ILC and saw how poorly it responds to standard chemo
  • I tracked recurrence rates, long-term side effects, and quality-of-life outcomes
  • I knew my body—and I knew the system wasn’t built for survivors like me
  • I had already begun sourcing plant-based extracts with documented anti-tumor activity

I didn’t reject medicine. I rejected blind obedience.

The Emotional Fallout I was called reckless. Irresponsible. Dangerous. I was banned from groups. Dismissed by doctors. But I had the scans. I had the biopsies. I had the remission. And I had the fire to build something better—for myself and for every survivor who’s tired of being silenced.

What You Can Learn From My Refusal

  • You’re allowed to say no—even when the system says yes
  • You can build your own protocol with science, strategy, and survivor data
  • You don’t owe anyone compliance—you owe yourself clarity
  • You can track remission without chemo. I did. And I’ll show you how

Ready to Explore Your Options? I offer 1:1 consults for survivors who want to challenge the system and build their own healing strategy—backed by data, tracked with biopsies, and led by someone who’s lived it.
